SA Engineering College signs MoU with National Institute of Wind Energy

CHENNAI: The department of electrical and electronics engineering at the SA Engineering College in Chennai has signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Institute of Wind Energy (NIWE) to submit joint R&D project proposals to funding agencies and execute the funded projects.
The MoU will also facilitate students and staff members to visit and undergo practical training for short periods.
The college has also opened a Centre of Excellence in Power and Energy Systems.
S Gomathinayagam, director general, NIWE, who spoke on the occasion of the inauguration of the Centre of Excellence in Power and Energy Systems, said the centre would bring together varied people and skills that promote collaboration and best practices.
